Cut Copy’s most recent Bass Guitarist released an EP he had started prior to joining the band in 2011. His new EP, Lover Motion, begins with the lead single I Can’t Stay, which is undoubtedly the best song on the 5-track EP. Not a lot unlike Cut Copy’s 2011 Release Zonoscope, Lover Motion is loaded with yummy synth work. Two of the songs are instrumental and not nearly as successful as the other three that contain vocals. But I have to give props at the versatility Browning gives in just 5 songs, while the album still sounds cohesive.
Here is the video to the first single, I Can’t Stay. Check it out then stream the Ep in its entirety.
