The announcement of the line-up for Coachella has everyone talking on facebook, twitter, and the rest of the internet. The vastness and quality of artists looks amazing. There is no doubt about that. I just can’t see paying $285 plus whatever other costs you incur over those 3 days. I would much rather see the bands I want separately headlining their own show, enjoying separate experiences.

I’m already planning concert dates for Neon Indian, Metronomy, & Fitz and the Tantrums. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to see some of the others this Summer.
